Life Happened-Chapter 10

[AN:SORRY] Chapter 10- The next day at 7PM, Ali was standing in front of her closet deciding what she was going to wear. Tonight was her date with Jason and she wanted to at least make an effort. She sighed as she pulled out a dress, then a pair of jean, then a shirt, then another dress. After going through almost her whole on a simple black cami and dark wash skinny jeans. She left her hair down and wavy. She put on a layer of dark, sultry makeup, but decided it may be to much for a first day, but when she heard a honk outside of her house she decided her present appearance was going to have to do. She ran out to Miley's car and slid into the back seat, since Nick was in the front. She agreed to go on the date with one condition, if it was a double. She hated meeting new people. "Hey", Ali said with a smile. She was starting to get excited, maybe a new boy was exactly what she needed to make her feel like herself again. "You look cute", Miley said. Ali looked down at her outfit, that was fairly simple and shrugged her shoulders. The rest of the car ride was quiet, except for Nick or Miley singing whatever song came on from the iPod in the dock. When they pulled up next to a small restaurant in Hollywood, Ali stepped out of the car, but wasn't expecting the flashing bulbs, but then remembered she was with two superstars. The three of them headed into the restaurant. They grabbed a table and sat for about five minutes waiting for Jason to arrive. When he walked up to the table, Miley stood and gave him a quick hug, while Nick firmly shook his had. Jason slid in next to Ali. She smiled to herself before turning towards him. "Hey, I'm Ali", she said turning and holding out her hand. Jason smiled his gorgeous smile. "Hi, Jason", he returned shaking her hand. The two sat staring at each other longer then necessary. When they were interrupted. "So, Jason, whats up man? I haven't seen you since the DC Games", Nick said, looking at their hands still shaking each others. "Oh, I'm good. Had a rough time when the show got cancelled, but what are you going to do?", Jason said. Before the conversation could continue a waitress showed up. Her face was in awe as she saw the three superstars sitting down at the table. She stuttered as she asked them what they wanted to order. Miley, Nick and Jason each smiled. They ordered food and sat, talking waiting for it to arrive. "So, Ali, how do you know Miley?", Jason said. Ali watched Nick roll his eyes. She smiled as she turned towards him. "Um, I'm her dancer, this tour was my first time working for her", Ali said. Jason nodded. "That's awesome. I'm a pretty good dancer", Jason said laughing. "Really?", Ali said. Jason smiled. "No", He said. Ali laughed, but it was cut short. Nick stood up. "I have to go to the bathroom", Nick said. Miley nodded. Ali smiled. She could tell that her over the top flirting was getting to him. She stood up two minutes later and excused herself. She walked off in the direction of the bathroom. Always looking down at her feet, she felt herself run into someone. She sighed, she could tell my his shoes that it was Nick. "Sorry", she said. She tried to get around him, but he stepped in her way. "Where are you going?", Nick asked. Ali looked at him with puzzled eyes. Did he honestly think that she had to answer to him? "The bathroom", Ali said, finally pushing past him. After returning to the table, their food arrived. The conversation was light, mostly about the newest Disney gossip, so Ali didn't talk much. The four of them finished their food and decided to order desert. "Um, just give me the chocolate gelato", Ali said. "Oooo, Italian, I'll have the same thing", Jason said, handing the desert menu back to the waitress. Ali laughed. She couldn't believe how much he had made her laugh. She actually felt happy, something that hadn't happened in awhile. She tried her hardest not to watch Miley and Nick, but couldn't help that every once and awhile her eyes would wander upon them. Finally, when they were done, Nick and Jason spilt the check. Jason walked Ali to Miley's car. "So, would it be ok if I called you sometime", Jason said. Ali looked down at her feet and smiled. When she looked up her eyes found tow boys, awaiting her answer. She sighed. "It would be ok", she said. The two exchanged their number and went their separate ways, for now.
