Natalie was digging through her closet to find something to wear for dinner later with Joe. She couldnt believe out of all the screaming fans that he saw everyday Joe remembered her. She didnt know if it was going to be casual or dressy so she took out a simple peach colored summer dress and wore some flats. She fixed her naturally wavy hair into a pump and just splashed a little bit of makeup. Alex walked passed the bathroom where she was. Alex: where are you going young lady? Nat: im going to dinner Alex: with? Nat: none of your business Alex: [put hands up defensively] well sorry! Alex went downstairs and turned on the TV he flipped through the channels and stopped on MTV. There the Jonas Brothers newest video WYLMITE was on. Alex watched it and began to laugh. Natalie had made her way down and heard Joe singing. Nat: is that Joe? Alex: yeah. Man he gets all dramatic at shows Nat: I love this song! Alex: [giving her a weird look] huh? Nat: well I sorta kinda went and got the CD after that one show. [Alex is still giving her a weird look] what! its a good CD. Alex: he's the one that called you earlier huh! Nat: [shook her head no] Alex: yes it was! Are you kidding me. Youre going to dinner with that pop star. Nat: yes. Yes I am. And only I can call him pop star thank you very much. Alex: whatever [changed the channel] have fun I guess. Nat: why do you hate him so much? Alex: I dont know. I just find it weird that the biggest heart throb in the world right now is taking you out to dinner. I like the guy but I dont trust him. I mean he can have anyone he wants Just then the doorbell rang. Alex looked at Natalie and quickly beat her to the door. Before he opened it Natalie mouthed to him I HATE YOU. Alex gave her a smile and opened the door. Alex: well, well, well. Arent I living every 16 year old girls dream right now! Joe: hi Alex. Alexi: Mr. Joe Jonas! How have you been? [shook his hand] Joe: I've been pretty good. Alex: well munchkin is in the living room. Come in. Joe: thanks. munchkin? alexi: oh dont tell her i told you that. Joe was dressed in his usual snazzy style. He walked into the living room and saw her sitting on the couch she got up to greet him and he was left breathless. Her natural beauty just radiated off of her. He went to give her a hug and the smell of sweet vanilla invigorated his sense of smell. Nat: aww man I underdressed huh. [looking at Joe] Joe: no no you look...great. I just tend to dress like this wherever I go. Alex: it comes with the rockstar image [yelling from the kitchen] Nat: excuse me [walked over to the kitchen and punched Alex in the arm] Alex: ow! What the hell! Nat: [walked back to Joe] im surprised you remembered where I lived. Joe: [thinking to himself: how could I forget. Its where I screwed up] yeah well I guess you can say I have good memory. [held out his arm] shall we madam? Nat: [took his arm] we shall. Joe opened the car door for her and she took a seat. He got into the car and put the key in the ignition. Nat: are you a better driver than last time? Joe: pfft! Yes! Nat: ok. If you say so. Joe turned on the car and drove off. He couldnt stop taking quick glances at her. He felt so lucky. Something about this girl got him. And it got him good. He loved the way she was so easy to talk to. He didnt have to worry about her fainting, crying, having a panic attack. He loved the fact that she knew absolutely nothing about him and it gave him the chance to let her know him, for him. She noticed he was looking at her and smiled at him. Nat: so I have a confession to make. Joe: [thinking: oh man she has a boyfriend] what is that? Nat: I bought your CD after you left...and I am officially a fan. Joe: [laughing] oh well took you long enough Nat: hey! [she looked out the window] why are we heading towards Disneyland? Joe: you'll see.
