McDowell EMS conducts free car seat safety checks (The McDowell News)

Wednesday kicked off a three-week EMS project called Operation Save-A-Child. Paramedics are inspecting child seats and making sure they are installed properly - all for free. The next event is Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon at Wal-Mart.
